What attracted you to our hospital? The challenges and opportunities that a position in the HIM Department had to offer, including a wide variety of responsibilities. I worked at the Krohn Clinic prior to coming to the hospital and therefore had already established a working relationship with hospital employees and was impressed by the professionalism and services the hospital had to offer.
What would you like people to know about your department? The HIM Department is responsible for transcription, physician charging, coding, record maintenance, release of information, and a variety of other duties. The department is staffed by nine employees that are very dedicated to their jobs and are highly motivated to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
