Childbirth Education
Classes are held on either four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. or on a one-day Saturday class from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday classes are held on the first Tuesday in January, March, May, July, September, and November. The Saturday class is held on the second Saturday of February, April, June, August, October, and December. Cost: $40. For more information, contact the OB Department at 715-284-1329.
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding Classes are held the second Saturday of January, March, May, July, September, and November from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Cost is $15 – Registration is required. No charge if currently enrolled in Childbirth Education Class. For more information, contact the OB Department at 715-284-1329.
Sibling Preparation
Classes are held on the first Tuesday in February, April, June, August, October, and December at 6:00 p.m. Cost: $10 for one child; $15 if two children from the same family attend. For more information, contact the OB Department at 715-284-1329.
Tobacco Cessation
Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays in January, March, May, September, and November from
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

CPR, First Aid and Safety Training

• Adult CPR and Choking Interventions – 3 hours
• Adult and Child CPR and Choking Interventions – 4 hours
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, and Choking Interventions – 5 hours
• Professional Rescuer CPR – 6 hours (for health-care providers, law enforcement, and fire department staff)
• Standard First Aid – 6.5 hours (includes Adult CPR and Choking Intervention)
• Community First Aid and Safety
• Professional Rescuer First Aid and Safety
• Renewal for Advanced Cardiac Life Support cards
• Renewal for Neonatal Resuscitation Provider cards
Grief Education and Support Program
This six-week program for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one is held twice a year. The program focuses on grief and loss and the resulting pain and impact on each person’s life. Participants have the opportunity to meet, in a sharing environment, with others who have also experienced the death of a loved one. The group is open to the public at no cost. Alzheimer’s Support Group
The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets the third Thursday of every month from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the hospital. For more information, contact Shawn Callisto at 715-284-3664 or callistos@brmh.net.
Diabetes Support Group
